Katie Rose Molina Browning is a Certified Herbalist, Flower Essence Practitioner, Earth-Centered Ceremonialist and Mother based in Ashland, Oregon USA and the Southern Caribbean of Costa Rica.

Her formal training in Western Herbalism began at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies in 2000 where she received her 750 hr Certified Herbalist certificate. Further apprenticeships over many years in Vitalist, Wise Woman and Earth Centered herbal traditions has led Katie on a deep soul journey to connect with the profound wisdom of the plant realm that has been the focus of her heart and career for nearly 20 years.

Katie previously upheld a private herbal practice focused on women’s health, was a staff herbalist and manager at the thriving Rebecca’s Apothecary in Boulder, CO for 8 years, developed herbal products for numerous natural health companies and owned her own line of herbal body products. Katie has created curriculum and taught/co-taught for many herbal and holistic educational facilities, helped co-create an international herbal convergence in Costa Rica and has presented at other botanical conferences; such as, the 2nd annual Red Earth Herbal Gathering in Boulder in 2018 and the Ylang Ylang Herbal Gathering in Costa Rica 2019.

Beyond her herbal studies and practice, Katie also has completed an intensive, year long, feminine ceremonial training from All Seasons Chalice in Colorado; holds a Permaculture Design Certificate from Punta Mona Center for Regenerative Design; has completed the Flower Essence Society Professional Course in 2018 and participated in a 3 Phase Qigong Instructor training with Adam Holtey in Ashland, OR.

Her personal background has always been intricately woven with the green world growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and the volcanic beauty of Mt. Shasta in Northern California, USA. As an avid traveler for many years Katie has been blessed to experience the beautiful diversity of many cultures and landscapes, which led her to living in the jungles of Costa Rica. It is there she meet her husband and birthed their beloved daughter and where her family still spends part of the year. Katie's experiences have led her to place a strong focus on helping to facilitate relationships between people and plants for healing through ceremony, connection with nature, plant spirit medicine, somatic healing movement modalities, community building and education.

Currently Katie teaches community classes/workshops, year long programs and mentorships through her Embodying Herbalism endeavor, facilitates Women’s circles, as well as, collaborates on amazing ventures like the ReWilding Souls Project www.rewildingsoulsproject.com

Her life is filled with joy
by her 5 year old daughter Hana Ilana, her work with the ‘green ones’, sisterhood, horseback riding / classical dressage and time spent outside surrounded by Mother Gaia, both in the coniferous mountain forests of the north and the jungle-ocean paradise of the tropics.
